🌅 Morning Departure – Blue Bay

Shortly after departure, you’ll glide across the crystal-clear lagoon, setting the tone for an unforgettable sea excursion.
🚢 Dalblair Shipwreck
First of all, cruise over the turquoise waters to reach the Dalblair shipwreck, a historic French vessel that sank in 1912. At this point, you’ll discover a fascinating underwater site surrounded by exceptionally clear water and vibrant marine life, making it a truly captivating stop.
🏝️ Île aux Aigrettes – Beach Stop
Afterwards, the journey continues toward the beach of Île aux Aigrettes. Here, you’ll enjoy a refreshing stop where you can relax, unwind, and soak in the calm and peaceful coastal atmosphere.
🏰 Île de la Passe (if sea conditions permit)
Following this beach break, you will pass by Île de la Passe, a rocky island located in the bay of Grand Port. Built from volcanic stone during the British colonial era, it once served as a strategic observation point against French attacks. As you pass by, you’ll gain insight into the island’s rich historical significance.
🚨 Île aux Phares (Île aux Fouquets)
Next, the boat heads toward Île aux Phares, also known as Île aux Fouquets. Situated at the entrance of Old Grand Port, this historic lighthouse island was once used to signal incoming vessels. Moreover, its dramatic scenery and historic charm make it one of the most picturesque highlights of the excursion.
🌊 Grand River South East Waterfall
Subsequently, you’ll visit the famous Grand River South East Waterfall, one of the longest rivers in Mauritius, flowing nearly 30 km before meeting the sea. At this stage, the skipper will take you close to the waterfall—approximately ten meters away—allowing you to admire this spectacular natural wonder from an impressive vantage point.
🍽️ BBQ Lunch on Île aux Cerfs
Around 12:30, it’s time to slow down and enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch on Île aux Cerfs, one of Mauritius’ most iconic island paradises.
The menu includes grilled fish, chicken, sausages, fresh salads, garlic bread, and grilled bananas. In addition, vegetarian meals are available upon request.
Furthermore, drinks are included throughout lunch, allowing you to enjoy water, fruit juice, red and white wine, local rum, as well as Phoenix or Blue Marlin beer.

Finally, departure from Île aux Cerfs is around 15:00, with arrival back in Blue Bay at approximately 15:30 – 16:00. As the day comes to an end, you’ll return with unforgettable memories of a truly incredible sea adventure.
