Spanning approximately 37 hectares, this historic garden was first created nearly 300 years ago as a private estate by the French governor of Mauritius. Today, it stands as a living showcase of the island’s rich botanical heritage.

Visitors can admire an exceptional collection of 85 palm tree species from America, Asia, Africa, and the Indian Ocean islands, alongside fragrant spice plants, ebony trees, and sugar cane.
