Your unforgettable catamaran adventure begins at Pointe Jérôme, in the coastal village of Blue Bay, located in the south-east of Mauritius. Upon arrival at the pier, step aboard the catamaran and receive a warm welcome from the friendly and professional crew. The captain will then provide a short safety briefing and explain the exciting journey ahead.
🌊 Scenic Sailing Through the South-East Lagoons
Once on board, sit back, relax, and enjoy a smooth and pleasant cruise toward Île aux Cerfs. Throughout the journey, you’ll be treated to spectacular panoramic views. On the land side, admire the majestic Grand Port mountains, lush tropical forests, and vast sugar cane fields. From the sea, marvel at crystal-clear turquoise lagoons and stunning views of Île aux Aigrettes, Île de la Passe, and Île du Phare.
🤿 Snorkeling at the Aquarium
The catamaran will stop at the famous “Aquarium,” an ideal spot for snorkeling. Dive into clear waters to discover vibrant coral reefs and swim alongside colorful tropical fish. Snorkeling equipment is provided on board, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
🌴 Grand River South East Waterfall Visit
Continuing the cruise, the catamaran heads toward the Grand River South East. This iconic waterfall, nestled between two natural canyons, offers a truly impressive sight. A short shuttle transfer will take you to the closest viewpoint—perfect for capturing memorable photos.
🍽️ 12:30 – BBQ Lunch on Board
Around midday, enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch freshly prepared and served by the crew, adding a flavorful highlight to your day at sea.
The menu includes grilled fish, chicken, sausages, fresh salads, garlic bread, and grilled bananas.
If needed, vegetarian meals are available on request.
In addition, drinks are included throughout lunch.
🏝️ Free Time at Île aux Cerfs
After lunch, the catamaran sails toward the famous Île aux Cerfs. On arrival, the captain drops the anchor and you are free to explore the island at your own pace—relax on the pristine white-sand beach, swim in the crystal-clear lagoon, or simply soak up the tropical atmosphere before the return journey.
